IMPORTANT NOTE
In
St. Louis County there is a dual system of service delivery for special
education. In most cases, students receive special education services
from the Special School District of St. Louis County(SSD) within their
component district. Component district refers to the district in
which a student attends school. In Parkway, SSD staff provides special
education, related services and service coordination for students
within Parkway buildings. This sometimes presents a challenge in
knowing who to contact with questions. Please see the organizational chart
for ideas of where to start. The Parkway administrative lead in
each building is the principal or their designee. Please refer to
the attached chart to identify the SSD administrative lead for each Parkway school.
